Keyvords: Computational models In the legai field, fuzzy logic and fuzzy reasoeing.
We discuss computational models of systems of legai rules and, more generally, the computational approach in the legai field. In particular, we point out a set of basic requirements to be fulfilled by formai models of legai rules. Next, we treat the use of fuzzy logic and fuzzy reasoning to set tip suitable models to be ttsed in computer simulations. The work ìs accomplished in a generai setting, so that it could be re-used also for other experimentations,
